Visitors from Another Planet There were reports of lights in the sky The phones were lit with inquiring minds A warning was broadcast to stay indoors Confusion spread about an invasion or war Another Hollywood cultural phenomenon Strangest objects sighted in the sky Radio signals were briefly interrupted A voice came on in a language corrupted Telling us that we need not worry They were only here to observe As not to disturb Flying saucers and visitors from another planet Like something off a Sci-FI flick My eyes could be playing tricks Flying saucers and visitors from other worlds Who would ever believe it was real? The day the earth stood still Alien voice: ‘We are visitors from a neighboring galaxy from the future. We seek your understanding and knowledge as we will impart our’s with you. Your planet is in great danger and has little time left. We wish to extract and relocate select beings to our home. Take me to your leader!’ Another Hollywood cultural phenomenon Strangest objects sighted in the sky Flying saucers and visitors from another planet Like something off a Sci-FI flick My eyes could be playing tricks Flying saucers and visitors from other worlds Who would ever believe it was real? The day the earth stood still The day the earth stood still The day the earth stood still

Time Travelers from the Future Dismissing tricks of lights or solar flares The have arrived Under mysterious stares They could be standing near you might never know Just what are their intensions? Might they take control? We cannot recognize them As they look like you and I They are hard to resist Don’t look into their eyes They are time travelers from the future Aliens from the past Who are here at last Walking here amongst us What is it that they seek? To occupy our space Where the oxygen will leak They see us as their past which they once belonged They left this place behind Knowing something was wrong Return to the blue planet With some intentions The future failed to provide Unpopular fiction We cannot recognize them As they look like you and I They are hard to resist Don’t look into their eyes They are time travelers from the future Aliens from the past Who are here at last Walking here amongst us What is it that they seek? To occupy our space Where the oxygen will leak What could they possibly want That they don’t have already? Shopping malls Remote calls Sushi bars Driverless cars What do they hope will last? Is the future better than the past? Ocean liners All night diners Deep blue seas Late night Movies With nothing else to do They make circles in fields They fly around the world To them it’s a thrill The appear and disappear To them it’s a game Flying near commercial flights They show off their flashing lights We cannot recognize them As they look like you and I They are hard to resist Don’t look into their eyes They are time travelers from the future Aliens from the past Who are here at last Walking here amongst us What is it that they seek? To occupy our space Where the oxygen will leak

The Tarnished Mirror All forgotten memories Have returned to me For I believed in the promise of eternity Approaching the sanctuary Every vision will provide Now I’m standing at its door And I’m still afraid to look inside The tarnished mirror Reflecting within Recalling all the places I have been Through the windows of a slient dream An admission of my own shortcomings Throughout history The ones with faith were the ones that were healed They did not degrade anyone Even though the truth was revealed Tales of stories and laughter A book marked page in the second chapter A open shutter in the winter Allows the cold wind to enter The tarnished mirror Reflecting within Recalling all the places I have been Through the windows of a silent dream An admission to my own shortcomings Sounding hallow The shock and the denial With all they have endured It never had occurred For they must return now Before the curfew starts to fall As the darkness draws closer The over seers begin to call Their voices can be heard across the city Calling out the names of those betraying the law The tarnished mirror Reflecting within Recalling all the places I have been Through the windows of a silent dream An admission to my own shortcomings My own shortcomings My own shortcomings in the tarnished mirror

False Algorithm If these walls could tell stories of the past Depicted on stained glass Full of controversy With a lack of mercy Sacred places housing relics That once belonged to the saints Who are never wrong With a vast quantity of gold It’s exact location untold All storms and disasters were believed to come from up there Where hidden in the clouds overseeing those below On the surface unaware Nailed to the door of the sanctuary Was a notice demanding monetary Feeling the constraints of debt Something that they have not met Overshadowed by their failure powerless to be fractured They were led to turn to cathedral To hear the words of the deceitful All storms and disasters were believed to come from up there Where hidden in the clouds overseeing those below On the surface unaware Sacraments subsequently Questioning the hierarchy As soon as the coin in the coffee rings The soul of purgatory springs Reprimanding reformation An order from the nation All who do not comply Will be held in contempt Their lives will no longer be exempt As the entered into the cathedral Echoing voices of the deceitful Their minds were filled with doubt They heard a voice in the distant shout Taking from the collection plate of the faithful Despite complaints from the hateful Wandering away from the doctrine As they approached the coffin If these walls could tell stories of the past Depicted on stained glass Full of controversy With a lack of mercy Sacred places housing relics That once belonged to the saints Who are never wrong With a vast quantity of gold It’s exact location untold All storms and disasters were believed to come from up there Where hidden in the clouds overseeing those below On the surface unaware Unaware

Forgotten Episodes The night erases the day Giving way to the darkness Leading us to believe in the superstitious Following the narrative to sleep Echoing our inner most deep Extraordinary Cautionary All Forgotten Episodes The ones you’ve never told Fleeting confusion Confronting illusion All forgotten Episodes The ones you never sold Interpreting Dreams They’re not what they seem Falling through our dreams Processing thoughts and memories Rising to the surface confronting the purpose Fading thoughts, visions seen Sometimes disguised as serene repressed longings find their way into our minds Unaware of my surroundings There was something there outstanding Emerging thoughts rediscovered All returning scenes uncovered Configurations of information appear to the sleeping mind The slumber allows us to consolidate Collecting all we find An array of colors all around Out of sight, out of sound With a glimpse into the future The past has left its signature Recalling a time and place I recall the face of someone telling me to return to my dream Don’t look back to the days left behind You might regret the what you will find It’s to better to leave the past alone Merging where are with where you were There is no mistake The moment you hesitate When you start to awake All Forgotten Episodes The ones you’ve never told Fleeting confusion Confronting illusion All forgotten Episodes The ones you never sold Interpreting Dreams They’re not what they seem : Falling through our dreams Processing thoughts and memories Fleeting confusion Confronting illusion Forgotten Episodes Forgotten Episodes

The River of Illusion Hearing the cries of disparity Summoned to the lies of severity Surrounded in this desolation Subjected to live in total isolation Waiting in the cull of trepidation Misleading us through false interpretation Looking through the wrong end of the telescope Distance miscalculated they lost all hope Falling alliance Stunning compliance Observed in silence Questing science False teachings fell upon closed ears and minds Stunning to those who scarcely find The myths led to stories that led to words Simple minds felt reassured All things remain in a state of flux Removed from the current status Subjected to the erosiveness of time Their status of punishment and crime Falling alliance Stunning compliance Observed in silence Questing science In the name of the shadow and of the Holy Ghost Instilling powers in wooden objects to host Worshiping in the majestic halls of time Transfixing on figures ever so sublime Merging philosophies Perpetual atrocities Transcending history Outliving misery Thought is the enemy of flow Scarcely heard In overtones Cries of disparity are often heard Ignored by the masses And unfavorably unturned : Accelerated and magnified Extraordinary stigmatized Panoramic transformations Essential disintegration Philosophy concerns itself about death While society breaths its last breath The blankness of nothingness Floating on a river of emptiness and illusion

Somewhere and Nowhere Everyone’s in such a hurry Can’t they see they’re going nowhere They end up back where they started And they don’t seem to care Just where did they come from? Why are they staring at the sun? They are hiding something from you Until the day is through They are somewhere and nowhere Anywhere in between They want something for nothing The are living in a dream Standing outside in the rain They don’t seem to mind They never check on the weather The listen for the city chime Avoiding any popular places Content with unoccupied spaces They don’t take any transportation Walking outdoor exploration They are somewhere and nowhere Anywhere in between They want something for nothing They are living in a dream They are neither here or there Breathing in the same air Escaping their own dreams Until they have to face the unseen They’re not concern with tomorrow Money is their means to borrow They don’t care for anyone As they stare into the sun What is here and now Doesn’t work for them somehow The future is an illusion That brings more confusion They are somewhere and nowhere Anywhere in between They want something for nothing The are living in a

Adapted for Theater They come to life before our very eyes Re-enacting events and plots Appearing so authentic Descending deeper into the madness With an ever disapproving attempt That straddle the divide even further I’m being held in contempt Depicting a story based on fiction An intensified version of social division Populated by deranged Qualities rearranged Adapted for theater With non fictional characters Portraying real-life scenarios That have never taken place Obsessive passion Disturbing thoughts Ignorant of their actions Emphasizing on who we are not Filling in the blank canvas with blackened embers With every chattel slave Reflecting windows Depicting a story of non-fiction An intensified version of social division Populated by Adapted for theater With non fictional characters Portraying real-life scenerios That have never taken place Casting a spell on darkness A crumbling diary page There’s a stranger in the water A surviving chattel slave There is no more coincidence It all makes sense if you try It makes you reach inside into your own pocket You might just find the reason why Solo over Chorus Adapted for theater With non fictional characters Portraying real-life scenerios That have never taken place Adapted for theatre x 4

Friction 07:09
Friction I can feel the friction burning from inside I can’t come to grips I’m turning to the outside Staring back with suspicion Concerned about their imposition There is too much negativity With little or no subjectivity Everyone has grown insensitive Outspoken, argumentative You are not what you are You are what you appear to be Is this the new norm? Have we lost our sanity? The stares ignite hatred Tension have been inflated With conflicting trends Disassociating friends Their senses are furthered dulled As criticism grows Everyone is speaking of Everything except love I can feel the friction out there touch the heat As temperatures rise in here It’s synchronized with the beat There is too much negativity With little or no subjectivity Everyone has grown insensitive Outspoken, argumentative You are not what you are You are what you appear to be Is this the new norm? Have we lost our sanity? The stares ignite hatred Tension has been inflated With conflicting trends Disassociating friends Their senses are furthered dulled As criticism grows Everyone is speaking of Everything except love I can hear the friction in the streets As tensions increase There are far too many demands Eliminating reprimand I try to fit into the big picture The circuit’s breaking, the lights flicker

The Shadows That Stood Between the Lies The rain keeps falling for days and nights Never stopping with no end in sight There are no detours There is no escape The doors are closing in on your fate There are those who are lost in despair They roam the streets so unaware Searching for something they haven’t found yet Afraid it could be another regret I want to see the shadows that stood between the lies Allowing reflections in deceptive eyes I want to return to the life we once knew Where our dreams were so close and so untrue All I want is to hear your laughter To touch your face soon after I need to know that this is real I need to believe what I feel Silence has been replaced with sound Once so familiar heard all around Empty streets desolate places Once filled with emotion on so many faces An activation of my senses A sensation of once felt before Have we grown I want to see the shadows that stood between the lies Allowing reflections in deceptive eyes I want to return to the life we once knew Where our dreams were so close and so untrue All I want is to hear your laughter To touch your face soon after I need to know that this is real I need to believe what I feel You must not yield even to a degree The loser will slip and fail to see Hiding in the darkness waiting to emerge Undetected until the lies will surge The shadows that stood between the lies The shadows that stood between the lies
13.
In Speculation The world is laughing at us It’s a tragic comedy With zero knowledge No valid ideology No sense of morality Destroyed by hypocrisy misguided by illusion Leading to false conclusions What is around the corner? Another conspiracy? We have reached the lowest point in our history There can never be any speculation There can never be suspicion or doubt The message always reads the same Confusion dominates the rein You’ve eaten the rotten fruit of the ruling class Who have an alibi to surpass Some many nations fail to see They are reliant on diplomacy Pointing fingers at each other for no reason Accusing inaccuracies of treason What is around the corner? Another inconsistency We have reached lowest point in history There can never any speculation There can never be any doubt Looking across the water to the shores of foreign lands Shadowed by the own dark past Strangled by their own hands The time will come when they must face up to their own deeds The storms of ignorance has been washed away with their greed
14.
The Truth is out There The setting sun has begun to fall Nowhere to run Face our fears stand tall The approaching clouds Overhead Only shadow the moonlight Blocking its light We’ve got to find our own way And never to be swayed There is no way out There is reason now There’s not another place like thisx2 This is the only one that exist The truth is out there It’s hidden somewhere From full view It’s a part of you The key to the lock To open the door The house of mysteries The collapsing floor Enter into the realm of ages past Beyond imagination to see at last If you can not comprehend Then lend me your mind I’ll go into a trance and send The truth is out there It’s hidden somewhere From full view It’s a part of you The key to the lock To open the door The house of mysteries The collapsing floor If I could go back in time I’m afraid of what I’ll find If I could visit all the places That I’ve been before Meeting all the people That I’ve ever encountered Like reliving a dream
